If you're playing devil's advocate, does that make Chelsea the devil?

I do sympathize with Chelsea but the Democratic National Party and the American public and the world has had to suffer much more than she did from the Monica Lewinsky scandal, if not more. The very public nature of the Monica Lewinsky scandal partially cost Al Gore the 2000 election because the jackass decided to distance himself from Bill Clinton throughout his Presidential campaign, an incredibly stupid move in my opinion.

Everybody talks about how George W. Bush stole the election, but he wouldn't have been able to have gotten away with it if the election results weren't so damn close. Although Al Gore got a prize for being such a vocal environmentalist, he never said a peep about global warming. Gore's desire to boldly take no stand whatsoever, along with keeping Bill Clinton out of his campaign, were the two main causes which lead to Gore's failure to win a significant majority of popular votes and fewer electoral votes than Bush.

In my opinion, if Bill had never had sex with a White House intern, there would've been no scandal and no attempted impeachment, Gore would have made Bill the centerpiece of his Presidential campaign, maybe even run Bill as VP. Gore probably would've soundly beat Baby Bush, and there would've been no President W. And with no George W. Bush in the White House there would've been no invasion of Iraq, no Haliburton, no 4,000 dead American soldiers, no subprime mortgage crisis, no illegal wiretapping of U.S. citizens, no weak economy, (maybe even no 9/11?) no re-election of President Bush, and I understand we're planning to invade Colombia or Ecuador now?

So I feel Chelsea and Hillary can go fuck off. At least they're employed, millionaires, alive, not losing their homes and not grieving the combat deaths of loved ones, which certainly can't be said for thousands of other Americans. The very least Chelsea can do is field an uncomfortable question.

I'm not going to blame Bill for having an affair. But I seriously think he should have contemplated the consequences of having sex with a White House intern in the Oval Office while on the clock. Of course, Bill did not think he was going to get caught. If Bill had fooled around with a truck stop waitress at a Holiday Inn, his extramarital fling would not have had the political impact it did.

OK I need to pay devils advocate here. Chelsea Clinton has to deal with having the visual of her father's activities for the rest of her life. I have the feeling that Chelsea's relationship with Mom and Dad is rather interesting to say the least.
